✨SERIES: The Feeling Behind the Brand

✨SERIES: The Feeling Behind the Brand 🧍🏽‍♀️SKIMS — The Feeling of Being Seen In a space where fashion and beauty have historically told people how they  should  look,  SKIMS  does something different.  It doesn’t start with the ideal. It starts with the person. SKIMS isn’t just selling shapewear. It’s selling the feeling of being seen. Built Around Real People, Not Just Products A lot of brands talk about inclusivity. SKIMS builds from it. From extended sizing to diverse campaign casting, the brand doesn’t feel like it’s adding people in, it feels like it was built with them in mind from the start. And that difference is noticeable. Because when people feel considered, they don’t just engage with a brand. They connect with it. More Than Fit, It’s Understanding Yes, SKIMS focuses on fit. But what makes it stand out is what that fit represents. It’s not about changing your body. It’s about working with it. That shift, from shaping to supporting, changes h...

🌊 What If Rhode Was the First Thing You Pack?

🌊 What If Rhode Was the First Thing You Pack?  What if  Rhode  leaned into that instinct—not as skincare you plan around, but as something that simply comes with you? A Product That Moves Beauty has always been tied to place: the bathroom mirror, the vanity, the perfectly lit routine. But real life rarely happens there. It happens in motion—in the backseat of a car, at an airport gate minutes before boarding, or sitting in a beach chair with the sun already hitting your skin. What if Rhode stopped centering where beauty starts and instead showed where life actually happens? Apply. Toss. Go. The moment is simple and repeatable. You’re somewhere—somewhere good. You pull out your lip treatment, apply it quickly without overthinking, and toss it back into your bag. Then you’re gone. Running into the ocean, getting up to leave, walking into whatever comes next. The product isn’t the focus; it’s just part of the rhythm. Different Places, Same Habit Zoom out, and that sa...

👙What If Frankies Launched the First Bikini Campaign You Could Actually Live Through?

Imagine this: instead of a traditional swimsuit campaign dropping all at once, Frankies Bikinis turns the entire summer into a real-time, interactive experience — where the audience doesn’t just watch, but actually  lives  the story as it unfolds. A Campaign That’s More Than a Campaign What if Frankies handpicked five creators — not just influencers, but poets, skaters, DJs, and artists — and put them together in a stunning beach house somewhere like Malibu or Mallorca? No scripts, no filters. Just a raw, unscripted summer full of bikinis, late nights, hookups, fights, and unforgettable moments. Call it a swimsuit-fueled reality series crossed with a Sofia Coppola film — but real, authentic, and unfolding live every day. Moments That Become Wearable Memories Picture this: every day, Frankies drops an unedited story — a candid video, a photo, a soundbite — capturing the vibe of the day. Then, inspired by those real moments, they release limited-edition bikinis named after what ...

🌄A BRANDING IDEA THAT MAKES ME WANT TO SET MY ALARM: LULULEMON’S “5AM CLUB”

Let’s be real. What if it felt like joining a secret society? We’ve all felt it—the temptation to stay under the covers when the world outside is dark and quiet. That internal debate:  Get up? Or pretend I didn’t hear the alarm? But what if getting out of bed before dawn wasn’t a chore… That’s the spark behind this campaign concept:  The 5AM Club , powered by Lululemon. The Big Idea Imagine this: It’s 4:59 AM. The city is still asleep. You slip into your favorite Lululemon joggers, zip up your Define jacket, and step outside. The air is crisp. The sky is just starting to fade from black to deep blue. A small group gathers in the park. No one needs to say it out loud—you’re all here for the same reason: to claim these first precious hours for yourselves. Someone presses play on a calming playlist. You breathe, stretch, move. The sun peeks over the skyline. For a moment, you feel invincible. Later, you scroll #5AMClub and see hundreds of others doing exactly what you did:...

🪐Branding Idea I Can’t Stop Thinking About: A Water Bottle That Sends You to Another Universe

Okay, hear me out. We’ve all had that moment at work — you’re sitting at your desk, your brain is fried, and you’re just kind of… existing. You reach for your water bottle, take a sip, and wish you could be literally anywhere else. Now imagine if that sip actually took you somewhere else. That’s the core of this branding idea I’ve been obsessed with: a space-themed water bottle launch (let’s say by Owala, because their bottles are already super aesthetic and fun) where each sip feels like entering a new universe. We’ll call it: CosmoSip. The Concept  Picture this: A woman is stuck in a gray, fluorescent-lit office. She’s tired, bored, and surrounded by coworkers silently sipping from sad, generic plastic bottles. She opens her new Owala CosmoSip, which looks like it was made from actual stardust. She takes one sip… and suddenly — whoosh — she’s pulled through a glittering portal into another galaxy. Now she’s floating on a neon alien planet, dancing under moons, making friends with...
